- Lifted vehicle in the air, removed fill & drain plug, drained transmission fluid into a catch pan to measure how much ATF comes out, Installed new sealing washer, tightened drain plug to specification, filled transmission, brought transmission fluid to operating temperature (122-140Deg.F.) to check fluid level, adjusted fluid level as needed, cleaned off any messes created during service.
- Found codes P0455 & P0447 EVAP Large Leak, commanded evap vent solenoid on with scan tool, Solenoid did not function. Checked for power and ground, No power present. Found broken wire at the connector, repaired broken wire, commanded evap solenoid on with scanner tool, solenoid functions now and seals. Cleared codes and retest. No check engine light returned. Confirmed repair.
