    • Technician hooked up scanner and found no initial codes. Got vehicle to operating temperatures and plugged in scan tool before extensive test drive, was able to duplicate issue. P0366 (cam shaft position sensor B bank 1) Preformed road test while monitoring live scan tool and observed camshaft position sensor parameter was erratic. Inspected the cam sensor wiring harness and connector. Verified using multi-meter both voltage and ground were present at camshaft position sensor. After back probing cam position sensor and performing a road test while monitoring the sensor signal on lab scope the can shaft position sensor signal observed on the lab scope was erratic. Technician recommends replacing camshaft position sensor.
    • Technician replace camshaft position sensor "B" (bank 1) before test drive. Problem still persists. Recommended oil change at this time, as the vehicle is 10k past last windshield sticker and might have caused sludge build up.
    • Technician used oil system flush agent, let run for 30 minutes as intended. Inspected exhaust cam position actuator and found debris, cleaned and re-lubricated. On scan tool actuated intake solenoid and exhaust cam solenoid, functioned as intended.
    • Technician preformed oil change with 5w30 and replaced with new engine oil filter. Afterwards preformed extensive test drive could no longer duplicate stalling issue.
